“I guess so.” Shuichi studied the strange woman; from her long, crimson hair to her bulky glasses with skeleton-adorned fastenings, she was intimidating. It didn’t help that she was taller than him — heels or not. “But guro has been around for so long. Why wouldn’t you know about it?”

"You almost sound like you know everything that happens right now. There is only so much one can choose to keep up with, obviously some things get left behind in the process; some language just happened to be part of what I left behind.” She replied with a shrug and flick of her wrist. She wasn’t sure how to feel about this boy, in some ways she had to wonder how he’d survived to be this age at all.

"Yeah, well, you make it sound like you’re an old hag.” Shuichi wasn’t the best at deciding what was appropriate to say and what wasn’t. This usually got him in trouble; this wouldn’t be an exception.
