“… Eh?” That certainly caught Hugo’s attention. Almost immediately, his expression changed — from carefree mischief to genuine curiosity. It was always the case whenever he figured out someone was artistically inclined like himself. “You sing, huh? Are you in a band?”

“Yes!” Shuichi replied, almost exasperated. “I just told you! I’ve a vocalist! My band is Bad Luck and’ we’re the best there is!” It hadn’t occurred to him that it might sound strange, worded as if his band was truly ‘bad luck’.
