Crap. The poor guy must have noticed that Hugo was over-thinking things, because now he seemed more withdrawn than before. Hugo, however, was mentally slapping himself upside the head, watching reluctantly as the other walked past him. Take it easy, dude. It’s not like you have anything to lose by hanging out with this guy.

“… I know so!” Picking up his enthusiasm, it didn’t take very long for Hugo to catch up to the redhead’s side once more, his elbow nudging against his shoulder. “I can buy you a shirt or something while we’re there. I have some money to spare, so it’s no big deal. … Ah, and we probably oughta’ grab a bite to eat before we go!”

Shuichi looked at the other man in surprise, cheeks somewhat flushed. He hadn’t expected him to get so excited. Was he really looking forward to going to the live with him? “A-Ah! You don’t have to buy me anything. Besides, I have a lot saved up so I can buy more merch.” He laughed sheepishly, nodding to agree that they should get something to eat beforehand. “What do you like to eat? Western food?” He figured it was a safe assumption, given that he looked gaijin.
