This one really was unhappy; oh well it would just take him some time. Perhaps he’d feel better if he was more comfortable. With a shrug she dragged the blanket off the back of her crouch and draped it over the boy’s slumped form. “Well if you get hungry the offer still stands.” She replied, reaching out to gently pat the top of his head.
Shuichi didn’t respond, nor did he swat the woman’s hand away. For hours, he didn’t move. He laid on his stomach with his face buried in his arms and his eyes tired from crying. Was he really trapped here? And for how long? What was this woman that she’d so easily captured him? His stomach growled loudly and he cursed himself for not taking up her offer for food some few hours ago.
