“Well, I had them in the car,” He explained, “And when I got out, I forgot them. Simple as that- by the time I realized, you were already here.” He gave the other a charming smile, “Oops.”

“But there’s an upside.” He assured, folding his hands in his lap, “You get to tell me all about you, and your band- I mean, the more I know about all that the more likely I am to give you all the one-ups I reserve for my favourites.”

“Oops, huh.” Shuichi wasn’t buying it. It was too convenient. And that smile he was giving – it was a shit eating smile if he’d ever seen one. All the same, this guy was his boss and he had no choice but to play along. Besides, even Shuichi wasn’t immune to his charm. “Is there something in particular that you want to know about?"
