{❄} In reality, Kyn had honestly forgotten. Between birthday shenanigans and advertisement pitches and his brother being a fucking dick- this time, he was offering oh so nicely to remove Kyn’s +1 from his wedding because his little brother wasn’t seeing anyone, or, well- hadn’t seen anyone seriously in years. It was a pleasant surprise when the younger man had shown up at the table because Kyn had completely and legitimately forgotten.
He was pulled from his thoughts by the other’s voice- Anything in specific he wanted to know? Everything- what the hell had this kid been through to write like that. Even with the shit Kyn had been through as a teen, his art hadn’t matured that fast, not in the least. “Everything?” The older man shrugged, “We have all the time in the world, so- why don’t you just start from the beginning?”
“The beginning is normally the best place to start- unless you have other ideas.” A pause, “I suppose I could be more specific, if you really wanted me to.”
"Everything? W-Well, I…” That was a lot to cover in three hours. Shuichi looked down at the table, thinking it over. “Do you mean about me, or…” He glanced back up at the producer beneath his lashes. “… Or my band, Bad Luck? Those are two different beginnings."
