Eiri was more than flattered at the gesture, the bag sure to have all of his favorite things tucked inside. He always was, after all, it was the little things he enjoyed most about Shuichi.

But where was the fun in that?

“You’re late coming home. If you weren’t like scabies, I’d assumed you’d left in me peace,” Eiri leaned against the door frame, a hand raising to run through his locks at a slow pace “, but that’d just be too good to be true. What kept you this time? Hiro try to talk you out of coming to see me? Should have listened.”

Eiri was genuinely curious.He didn’t like the thought of his lover roaming the streets alone any time of day, let alone when the dusk rolled around. Nor the idea of his band mate, while a good friend with good judgement, trying to pry in places where he didn’t belong.

“Why do you always have to be so mean?!” Shuichi glared at Eiri, clearly not having any of his attitude. He shoved the combini bag right at his brawny chest and gave a sharp huff. “You keep saying things like that, but it’s not true! You miss me when I leave, don’t you?!” He didn’t even touch on the comment about Hiro. Worried or not, he hated it when Eiri acted this way. A bit softer, he added, “Can’t you just let me in? I’ll tell you about my day after we eat."
