When he caught the bag that collided with his chest, he almost smirked. When would Shuichi let on to the fact that he did this on purpose? He kept his typical frown on, rolling his eyes as he spoke.

“Miss you, the biggest pain in my ass? I hold a little party for myself every time you leave the apartment.” His monotone voice and Shuichi already being upset didn’t help prove what he just said was a joke.

Instead, Eiri let one side of his mouth turn up, placing a gentle kiss on his forehead before dragging him inside.

“Everybody get’s one, even damn brats like you,” Eiri nudged him towards the kitchen “, help me set the table. Anything interesting happen today?”

“The biggest pain in your ass?!” Shuichi was fuming. Was he really going to keep saying things like that?! Didn’t he know how much it hurt to hear things like that all the time? He was just about to give the novelist what for when his lips (heavy with the scent of tobacco) ghosted over his forehead. His anger was soothed, somewhat, and he allowed Eiri to pull him inside. 

“Not really…” He murmured, somewhat dazed by the kiss. How he yearned for another one. 

Damn him.
