“… Ah…” For a moment, Hugo had no idea what to say. He never would have expected Shuichi to fall for him at all — and so quickly, at that. And yet, it didn’t feel strange in the slightest. If anything, it felt… right. “Shuichi… I…” he started slowly. This was the first time he ever addressed him by his name, wasn’t it? “… I really… like you, too.”

Shuichi could hardly believe what he was hearing. The other man had admitted his feelings so easily, so naturally. It was nothing like what he remembered with Yuki – with his angry outbursts and snide remarks. From happiness, he felt tears prick at the corners of his eyes. “Y-you… You do?” He breathed.
