“Really? With the cast of characters you work with, I figured it would never be a dull moment. Did Tohma cause any trouble today?” Despite the goodness in him, Eiri didn’t trust his brother in-law as far as he could throw him.

As Eiri drew plates and utensils from carefully organized drawers and cabinets,  he watched his lover, who was dazed once again by a simple kiss. Easy to please was how he liked it; why get complicated? He was complicated enough already.

“No, not really. Besides, I don’t want to talk about that.” Still a little bitter about Eiri’s attitude, but unable to resist his charm, he’d already forgiven him. He drew nearer slowly and slipped his arms around his waist. His cheek pressed firmly to his strong arm. “You said everyone gets one, but I want another. I bought you dinner. I deserve that much!” He was thoughtless as ever, paying very little attention to the fact that Eiri was fussing with plates.
