“I know, but…” Shuichi couldn’t hold his gaze at all. Stubborn as ever, he was determined to hold onto his goal. He simply had to reach Ryuichi’s level. And while it was true that he sometimes emulated him very closely, he was happy that way. Was it really such a bad thing? Feeling foolish, he was beginning to settle on just keeping his mouth shut for the rest of the night – until he receive more praise. 

“Wha–?” He lifted his eyes, and they glittered like emeralds beneath the soft lighting. “You really think so?” After all, this was his producer saying these things. If this guy believed in him, he certainly had a shot in the music industry.
