El Corazon. Now that was a place she actually knew. Wait, he was playing there? Damn. She had to admit she felt a bit impressed; even though the bar wasn’t exactly the greatest venue in the city it was still a pretty good starting place for musicians. Hopefully this guy would enjoy it, although she had to wonder when the place had started booking foreign bands.
“El Corazon? Alright I know that place. The Hilton’s right up the street a couple blocks! I can—” Right. She was probably speaking a little too fast for the poor guy. “Uhhh Do..you..want…me..to take…you…there?” Good, that should work.

Shuichi was a bit puzzled when she spoke so quickly. It was hard for him to follow along, but he managed all right. He was very aware that it was an oddity; being booked by such a high-end venue when his band was definitely foreign, but the city had demanded him! They’d also be performing at a convention center in California in the next few months. All good steps. “Yeah!” He said. “Please take me there."
