{❄} “Well, I suppose if that’s a risk you’re willing to take…” Kyn paused, giving the teen a smile, “I’d just rather not see you crash and-or burn.”
The waitress returned to the table, setting down another two plates of expensive-looking foods. Kyn thanked her, briefly- but she had not response. He always made it a point to be polite- but the others in this city were not normally so courteous in return- wait staff was an interesting one, given the ridiculously large tips he usually gave. Then again, it was normally because he was dining alone for prolonged periods and made friends with the wait staff because, well- it was his nature. This waitress must be new. He returned to his guest, with a smile. “Could I ask you some...odd questions?”
As the waitress placed down their meal, Shuichi couldn’t help but feel a little guilty. Was Kyn really going to treat him to all of this? He didn’t even recognize half of the dishes. "Thank you,” he offered a polite nod to the waitress, though it went without notice, and he waited to be invited to take a bite.
“Odd questions…?” He watched the older man with a quirked brow and a shy smile. “Sure, I guess. Why not? You’re my producer. I guess you have a right to know whatever you want."
