When he gestured to the skyline she had to pause and admire it as well; it was one of her favorite parts of this city. A gentle grin spread across her lips for a moment, blue eyes reflecting the dim lights around them. “Yeah, it really is.”
She had to shake herself back into the current moment when he spoke again. Right, she had to get him back to his hotel. “Yeah sure, let’s head out.” She replied, jerking her head towards the street for him to follow her. “Stay close, don’t wanna get lost again.”

“Okay, okay.” Shuichi nodded, hands in his pockets. He followed her down the street, avoiding the gazes of strangers that passed – even jumping when a car alarm began screaming. Dangerous. This place was so dangerous. Could he be sure that this Alex person was safe? He kept to himself shyly as they walked.
