♥ - What does ‘love’ mean to them? 

I think to understand what love means to Shuichi, you also have to understand what kind of lover he is. Shuichi is the kind of person that falls in love very easily. His lover (or even just the person receiving his affections) will be showered with possessiveness and unwavering need for reassurance. He’s definitely not the easiest person to be tethered to, but to make up for it his love is very, very strong and he would sacrifice just about anything to keep his lover happy. 

Shuichi thinks of love as the ultimate commitment. With the right person, it makes him happier than anything – sometimes even happier than his own music can make him.
